Hotel De France is more than a family business, it used to be a monastery bought by Dominique and Patrick Omont in 1991. Their son, Mathieu, joined them in 2004 to help in cooking as a family, learning all about his father's love for gastronomic cuisine.
Since then, Chef Mathieu, who is a member of the Toques of Auvergne, is proud of his legacy and has been transmitting family values throughout the art of cooking in an authentic and traditional way, coming from the deep rural Bourbonnais region and in close relationship to his personal regional products suppliers. Buying Local products is his priority.
